ClassMate is a fully offline app. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.

1. Information We Collect

ClassMate does not collect any personal data. The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

Class timetable and schedule
Homework assignments and their status
Exam dates and details
Personal notes
Grade records and GPA calculations
Study material file references (file paths/URIs only — files are not copied)
Subject names and colors
App preferences and settings

2. Data Storage

All data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. No data is transmitted over the internet. No cloud storage or synchronization is used.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any of your data to third parties. Since all data is stored locally, only you have access to it.

4. Third-Party Services

ClassMate does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app functions entirely offline.

5. File Access

The Study Materials feature allows you to pick files using Android's built-in file picker (Storage Access Framework). The app stores only the file reference (URI) — it does not copy, upload, or modify your files in any way.

6. Children's Privacy

ClassMate is designed for students of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data or communicate with external servers, the app is safe for users under 13 years of age. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by:

Clearing the app data from Android Settings → Apps → ClassMate → Clear Data
Uninstalling the app (this permanently removes all data)

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
